The Top 20 Coders competition

TOP 20 CODERS is a wonderful platform for tech enthusiasts to shine a spotlight on their coding skills and problem-solving abilities, to prove that they deserve to be among the best that our college has to offer.

Open to all SJCET Palai students, this is designed as a multi-tier competition that leads up to the final showdown, a super cool hackathon.

This event has no losers. As participants, you don't lose anything; at the very least, you'll get a chance to network and meet a lot of talented, passionate, and like-minded people.

Competiton Workflow

  1. Read the Guidelines

To participate in the Coders Competiton, the first step is to read the guidelines carefully .

  1. Join the Channel/Group

Join our whatsapp group for up-to-date notifications .

After completing the above steps, create a Pull Request to this Github Repo with your details. Follow the below steps to create a Pull Request.

How to create a Pull Request

Participants Creating MD Example

  1. Fork this repository by clicking on the fork button on the top of this page.
  2. Clone the repository by running the following command in your terminal.
git clone https://github.com/<your-username>/Top20Coders.git

(obviously install git first)

  1. Create a new Readme file inside /participants folder with your details. You can use the participants.md file as a template.
  2. Add your details in the Readme file.
  3. Add the Readme file to the staging area & commit the changes.
  4. Push the changes to your forked repository.
  5. Create a Pull Request to the main repository.
  6. Wait for the PR to be reviewed and merged.

Note: If you don't understand the above steps, you don't deserve to be a coder. Git & Github is a must-have skill for every coder. So, learn it now.
