Vodafone TV app not opening

I've got the Runtime installed in Chrome on a Windows 10 HP notebook (64 bit). 2048 game works fine. I've converted com.vodafone.vtv.nz to an unpacked extension using Chrome APK Packager on a Samsung phone. The extension installed (with a "arc_metadata" error that I understand is not a problem). When I launch it, the app freezes just showing the logo in the screen window.

Is this fatal or can I get this app working somehow?
