library dependencies! It's totally killing me.

I have all sorts of things loaded depending on different versions of the same libraries and it's a total nightmare keeping it all hanging together. Is there anything I can do to help get dependencies added to the library specification ASAP?

Also I'd like a bit more control over the build process for a library, like which files are in GCC's Include path etc?
