Method tooltips show for a fraction of a second

Several method tooltips, like String.substring, String.ToInt and String.length are visible for about 0.1 seconds when hovered, making it impossible to read the signatures/hints.

This could be a language server issue. @Markz878, which board did you select?

Hi @Markz878. Thanks so much for reporting this! The issue mentioned by kittaakos is now fixed (arduino/arduino-language-server#81), and that fix is in the Arduino IDE 2.0.0-beta.12 release. Please give the latest version of the Arduino IDE 2.x a try and let us know whether you still experience this issue. Thanks!
