Which image to flash a Shelly 1 Plus

I am trying to flash a Shelly 1 plus and keep running into errors. I hope I can get some help here on a few points:

The Shelly ran with Tasmota 12.5 until I tried an update to 13.x, via the webinterface and something went wrong.
The device did not come up.

I have now connected the Shelly via USB-serial:

unfortualnly i see no tasmota-xxxx WiFi and the device reboots 2-3 times per second.

Can someone help?

You did use the correct image, and Tasmota boots just fine, until Wifi needs more juice.

i aslo tried it with AC power, i can ping the 192.168.4.1 but i am continously disconnected.
The webpage takes sooo long to load but does NOT give me an option to enter the WiFI password.
It only offers me the form field for SSID:

So i thought i flashed the wrong image...

WiFi on Shelly1 and Shelly2.5 did work via USB power

If it does not work with AC mains powered, it is a bad flash since it is not good enough powered during flash.

Shelly 1 and 2.5 needs less 3.3V power, both for flashing and Wifi operation. You likely need a USB/serial adapter with more power available, like one of the recommended ones. Debugging without good 3.3V power is not really realistic.

did the same procedure with a second Shelly 1 Plus, also ran into an issue.

I figured out this Shelly 1 Plus has Dual core, no comment....

The solo1 binary also works with a dual core chip.
