I’m a Junior Mobile Developer with experience in developing iOS and Android applications using Java and Swift, as well as progressing towards learning cross-platform development with Flutter. I Possess a strong understanding of mobile app development lifecycle and have hands-on experience in implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, third-party libraries, and push notifications. Committed to delivering high-quality, user-friendly, and efficient mobile solutions to clients. I embarked on my coding journey during my college education, pursuing a degree in Information Technology with a strong desire to learn all aspects of programming, including coding, Linux, and theory. As a novice programmer compared to classmates who had prior programming experience in high school, I set a goal for myself to excel in Java, which was a central language in my software development courses. Upon reaching my final year, I participated in two significant programming projects. The first was the creation of an e-commerce store, while the second project involved the development of an Android application, which sparked my interest in mobile development. I dedicated a significant amount of time to honing my skills in Android development and was rewarded with excellent grades for the project. Three months after completing my degree, I received a bursary to study iOS development, leading me to pivot from Android to iOS development. I am now an iOS developer, with my proudest accomplishment being the development of a simple e-commerce application using Shopify's iOS SDK. Checkout the travSIM iOS app here.
