In this case, I want to run C when either A or B fails.
Disabling this check. See ticket for details: koalaman/shellcheck#2000
Now shellcheck will run in the CI. It's mandatory.

Shellcheck is now adopted as a mandatory checker for this repository.
All of the warnings it found were fixed.
It was added to the Docker container and the Makefile, and is now
running in the CI on every push.
