always back up target before linking it to new source

since i m linking targets rather than creating them make will not be able to know the timestamps

want to name the rules with simple names therefore a target of ‘vimrc’ is more preferable than ‘~/.vimrc’

individual groups e.g. bash, vim etc and individual targets e.g. vimrc, bashrc for fine grained control
