Python3.6 has reached end of support on AWS Lambda. AWS Lambda Builders will not work on python3.6 environments as of Jan 31, 2023.

What is deprecation schedule?

AWS Lambda Builders will not work on python3.6 environments as of January 31st, 2023.

Am I impacted by this deprecation?

Following use cases will be impacted by this change;

• If you are using python3.6 and installing AWS Lambda Builders through pip install
• If you are using aws-lambda-builders as a library and you are building your application with python3.6

AWS SAM CLI will stop supporting python3.6 as AWS Lambda Runtime, see aws/aws-sam-cli#4512 for more details.
