Summary

Changes

Removed fastmcp Patch (Merged Upstream)

  • Deleted: mcp_proxy_for_aws/fastmcp_patch.py - The monkey patch for fastmcp initialization error handling
  • Deleted: tests/unit/test_fastmcp_patch.py - Tests for the old patch
  • Modified: mcp_proxy_for_aws/init.py - Removed patch import

Reason: The fix from jlowin/fastmcp#2531 was merged upstream, so our local patch is no longer needed. FastMCP now natively handles McpError during initialization.

Updated Dependencies

  • Modified: pyproject.toml - Upgraded fastmcp to v2.14.1
