Compilation doesn't work ... "Welcome stranger !"

I have created the tasmocompiler v12.5.0 container (benzino77/tasmocompiler:latest, with port mapping Host:8080 Container:3000) using PORTAINER (running on a Raspi Pi5 8GB). The application starts on a ACER Laptop with 192.168.178.125:8080 without any problems, but when compiling it just says "Welcome stranger!, Welcome stranger! ...". What is going wrong?

You have probably many tabs/windows open with TasmoCompiler.
That writing shows up when the TasmoCompiler tab/window is refreshed or new tab/window (with TasmoCompiler) is open.

Thanks for the tip. What exactly do you mean by "TAB"? For example, I only have one tab open in Firefox...

... now I tried it again on a "bare" Raspi Pi3 1GB WITHOUT Protainer
"docker pull benzino77/tasmocompiler"
and
"docker run --rm --name tasmocompiler -p 3000:3000 benzino77/tasmocompiler"
Unfortunately the same result ... I'm surprised ... Is the problem in front of the PC?!
I hope someone has an idea ...

Definitely not ;)

It can be a problem with ARM architecture (on which RPI is based on). There had been already reported some strange behaviors in the past (but mainly related to the lack of compiler/toolchains on ARM archicteture). You can start TasmoCompiler container in debug mode:

docker run --rm --name tasmocompiler -p 3000:3000 -e DEBUG="server,git,compile" benzino77/tasmocompiler

This should provide some additional information at the console during compilation.

If you have such possibility you can also run TasmoCompiler docker on x86/x64 architecture i.e. your Acer Laptop.

... at least I didn't do anything wrong ... ;-)

In debug mode it looks good, the BIN is created after 11 minutes on the Pi3 (Storage location?).
But in the WebUI I only see "Welcame stranger!" in an endless loop.

Is there a problem in the LOG file?

It would be nice if it ran on the Raspi before I use the online TasmoCompiler again.

Try a different browser (chrome/edge/whatever).
The second suggestion is to try Firefox but with all extensions turned off.
Maybe the problem is with the Firefox in combination with some extension(s).

That's it ... Edge works ...
(Firefox doesn't work without add-ons either)
