Package(s) built on Azure are ready for inspection:

Arch Package Zip File
linux-64 htslib-1.19_8751c40c4f.tar.bz2 LinuxArtifacts
linux-64 htslib-1.19-h81da01d_0.tar.bz2 LinuxArtifacts
osx-64 htslib-1.19-h365c357_0.tar.bz2 OSXArtifacts

You may also use conda to install these after downloading and extracting the appropriate zip file. From the LinuxArtifacts or OSXArtifacts directories:

conda install -c ./packages <package name>

Docker image(s) built (images are in the LinuxArtifacts zip file above):

Package Tag Install with docker
htslib 1.19--h81da01d_0
showgzip -dc LinuxArtifacts/images/htslib:1.19--h81da01d_0.tar.gz | docker load

These will be inferred from the library dependencies, as appropriate.
In particular, this will omit the spurious zlib package dependency:
only libzlib is required.

That appears to have removed the now-spurious zlib (as opposed to libzlib) dependency on Linux but not on macOS 🤷 — good enough for now!

[ETA: zlib is correctly omitted on both Linux and macOS in the final files, but did not appear to be so in the macOS preview artefact. All's well that ends well?]
