Disable Notifications in shared Calendar

I'm using a nextcloud with my partner, and several calendars synced with davx5 to android.
I do share my personal calendar with them, so my events are visible. But I'd like to have the reminders for these events only on my device(s): currently if I set a reminder for myself, it's also nagging my partner.

Can I disable notifications for one configured calendar in davx5?

At the moment – unfortunately no. Notifications are currently synchronized as they are on the server.

I'm very interested too. On ICSx5, there is a option for each calendar : "Ignore alerts embed in the calendar", that's exactly what I need on davx5.

Sure, I have the same use case as azrdev : I'm sharing my calendars with my partner. It's very usefull for me to see his calendar, but I don't want to have notifications from his calendar, and he doesn't want to see notifications from my calendar.

@rfc2822 I agree with the other two and share their experience. My partner and I want to share calendars as we both work random days/times. However, neither of us wants whatever notification the other has set. We just want to be able to see the event on our own calendar.

Instead of "stripping" the reminders from calendar events, some calendar apps (e.g. Simple Calendar Pro, see (SimpleMobileTools/Simple-Calendar#1003)) use different notification channels for each calendar. Thus, you can turn on / off reminders by the Android 8+ in-built notification settings.

I support the request for disabling notifications of specific synced calendar. Indeed, I'm part of an association and we used a synced calendar to plan events of the association but also to inform other volunteers of potential interesting events in our surroundings. Each members set their own notifications and reminders making my phone ringing all the time with notification of the calendar app on...
