Example davdroid-config.json file?

After going through the DAVx5 manual, I learned a davdroid-config.json file can be used to configure the DAVx5 app. In particular, the manual states:

Managed DAVx⁵ / Managed configuration / Scan the QR code of the configuration file URL or enter the URL.

• Where could I find an example davdroid-config.json that contains a base-url and list of calendars that are to be synced (within (the Nextcloud calendar belonging to) that base-url)?
• And would it suffice to make the phone go to that URL in the browser, and then download that file, and open it with DAVx5, or should I open the URL within DAVx5, or is that URL what is meant with the base url?/Where should I enter the URL?

Hi,

The feature of managed configuration (over Android Enterprise or a davdroid-config.json file) is a feature of Managed DAVx5 and not available in the davx5-ose version (in fact, it's the only real difference between those versions).

Only the base URL is in the configuration; the other URLs are detected automatically with the normal DAVx5 service detection.

The configuration URL (the URL to davdroid-config.json) can be entered in Managed DAVx5, yes. If then fetches the configuration and configures DAVx5 accordingly, including the Base URL (= starting URL for CalDAV/CardDAV service detection).
