"Transaction failed on small parcel" on LineageOS when synching calendar #286
-
Good evening, I've recently upgraded from my old Fairphone3 with /e/ to a Oneplus 9 Pro with LineageOS. I've been using Davx5 for quite a few years with my old phone, and I wanted to set up the same synch I had on my old phone. My E-Mail-Provider (Posteo) supports synchs. So I set up everything, and most works, but the calendar synch intermittently does not - see the attached log reports. As far as I can see, it happens only on calendar synch, as when I manually start one from the Davx5 UI the error pops up. The error has not always happened, as I had days where my calendar is synched perfectly, and the calendar widget shows my appointments. I have found the error message in other software contexts, however, I am not sure what is a course of action I can take to work around that. |

Hi, thanks for the report. I've seen this a few times reported already - a certain Lineage version for Android 13 was broken. It can only be fixed if you're updating/downgrading the LineageOS version of your device. This version seems to have had an error with the Calendar and Contacts storages not allowing a certain process size needed for the transaction of the data. Hope it helps! |

That was a very good hint. I've updated to a LineageOS version from yesterday, and I cannot reproduce the issue. Thank you very much. |

Sorry to necrobump this. I'm on GrapeheOS in order to have recent OS security updates. Graphene just upgraded to Android 14. Since a couple of days (so, before I got A14!), I get these messages, too: Quite annoying since they pop up frequently and for multiple inscances configured. What shoud I do? (Downgrading is not an option!) I may provide a debug.zip if told where to since it contains sensitive data. |
