Google Calendar Sync with DAVx5 #501
-
I have two calendar apps Google Calendar and Etar. I want to use Etar for my DAVx5 synced calendars and Google Calendar for my Google synced calendars. However by default, Google Calendar can see my DAVx5 calendar, there's no option to stop sync and when I try to unshow the calendar it also unshows it in Etar. Why is this? |

Google Calendar and Etar are basically two apps for the same purpose – they allow to view and edit the local calendar on your Android device. The Google Calendar app (not to be confused with the Google Calendar service on calendar.google.com or in GMail) doesn't synchronize DAVx5 calendars. Thanks for your help. Just to check my understanding, does this mean the local calendar settings are shared between Etar and Google Calendar App? When I uncheck display my DAVx5 calendars in Google Calendar App it also stops Etar from displaying those calendars. When I check display DAVx5 calendars in Etar it also enables them in Google Calendar App. This doesn't occur for non DAVx5 calendars. |

Must be very specific to DAVx5 synced calendars. Thanks again for your help
and have a good day.

Not all settings, but yes, some of them (like which calendar is visible) are shared because they're stored in the calendar storage settings (not in the app settings).
