Guess that a very neglectable fraction of DAVx5 power consumption is UI. Most is probably network connection and CPU for background sync. |

When we have rewritten everything to Compose, we will think about Material 3 / You and I agree that then would be a good time to re-think colors and themes. |

OLEDs are able to disable pixels displaying #000000. This means that any application which implements a dark-as-possible mode can reduce battery consumption by approximately 50%.
