Showing old version, but claims to have updated #620

Running on my Android phone, Davx5 is reporting that it is version "4.2.6-ose (402060000)", but the phone claims that Davx5 was updated on the 4 Mar 2024. It appears to be running properly, although today I found that update hasn't been working for a couple of weeks now and it seemed that I had to press update three or four times to get it to work. Seems odd. Should I be worried? |

I've got version 4.3.14-ose. Which is also the same version I see on fdroid, Google Play, and in the repo here on GitHub. |

@ArnyminerZ - I think it's probably the Play Store. It's been a while now so I'm not completely certain, but I think that's right. |

@MarkRS-UK If you go to Android settings > Apps > See all > Davx⁵. After selecting Davx⁵, scroll all the way to the bottom. It will tell you from which location it was installed. I install mine direct from GitHub via Obtanium as you can see below.

Then you may have manually downloaded the APK, and it has a different signature than from the Play Store, that's why it can't update, they are kind of "different apps" for the system. I recommended manually downloading the latest version from Github, or uninstall and reinstall from Play Store. |
