[Support]: Frigate won't start or allow configuration

Describe the problem you are having

New install of HAOS, Frigate installed via HACS, but will not configure under devices.
Frigate should be version 5.4.0 as per HACS page

I'm pretty sure its not relevant, but the browser I failed to specify is Firefox 115.15.0esr (64-bit)

Check out the documentation. You need to install Frigate itself. The integration available through HACS is for connecting Home Assistant to an existing Frigate installation.

Thanks dude, the RTFM should be default go to, I didn't realise that the HACS part was only the integration and not the actual application :-)
