I believe this is a bug. I have to remind it that we are in Linux and that it can use commands.

I'm also not seeing what commands it's running, which is kind of scary. You can't possibly know what routes the LLM might take to fix something. For example, if you say 'fix this file,' the LLM could delete your OS to eliminate the problem entirely.

Since goose runs commands as background process, it is right their I think about it not being able to effectively use gedit! We've included editing tools for goose that it can use instead. I'd try asking it to make the edits you are looking for and see if those work.

For the commands - we make sure to always show the command that is called on the shell, but currently we don't always show the output of the command. Working on a configuration for this!
