Perhaps this will help with reported issues? We just ask for a log and it's all in there.

$ python apps/blueman-manager --loglevel debug
blueman-manager 21.15.54 INFO     Functions:353 log_system_info: BlueZ version: 5.71

edit: crap freedesktop_os_release is 3.10 only 😭 . I'll parse it manually.
