Ngrok-tunnel gem is a ruby wrapper for ngrok v2.
Note: You must have ngrok v2+ installed available in your PATH
.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'ngrok-tunnel'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install ngrok-tunnel
require 'ngrok/tunnel'
# spawn ngrok (default port 3001)
Ngrok::Tunnel.start
# ngrok local_port
Ngrok::Tunnel.port
=> 3001
# ngrok external url
Ngrok::Tunnel.ngrok_url
