Rooks are little castles in chess. They do not want to play chess anymore. The other pieces are angry! Save your rooks by shooting fireballs at the attacking chess pieces.

How to Start the Game

1. Make sure you have SDL2 installed (on Macs brew install sdl2 per the Gosu documentation)
2. Install Ruby 3.1 and Bundler
3. Download the files in this Github repository.
4. Run bundle to install Gosu.
5. Run ruby rogue_rooks.rb to play the game.
6. Enjoy!

How to Play

1. Move the red target around the board. Click to shoot a fireball at the oncoming chess pieces.
2. Protect the rooks in the center! If the pieces collide with all of your rooks, the game is over.
3. Click to play again.
