Here I build a simple one-box ecosystem model that tracks nitrate through a nutrient, phytoplankton, zooplankton, and detritus compartment.
The iPython (Jupyter) Notebook included goes into detail about the model structure and generates an interactive model "tuner" that is hosted here.
