Can't access Twitter on Brave on Arch Linux #28459

Description

Can't access Twitter.com. it says "Something went wrong. Try reloading.". Can't even login.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Brave browser
  2. Type in twitter.com or click twitter from Bookmarks

Actual result:

"Something went wrong. Try reloading."
twitbrave

Expected result:

Can access twitter.com and logging in.

Reproduces how often:

Easily reproduced - every try

Brave version (brave://version info)

Version 1.48.158 Chromium: 110.0.5481.77 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Version/Channel Information:

On this current channel.

  • Can you reproduce this issue with the current release? Yes
  • Can you reproduce this issue with the beta channel? Not installed
  • Can you reproduce this issue with the nightly channel? Not installed

Other Additional Information:

  • Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Shields? No
  • Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Rewards? No
  • Is the issue reproducible on the latest version of Chrome? No. it works well on both Chrome and Chromium.

Miscellaneous Information:

Using Arch Linux (Kernel: 6.1.11-arch1-1)

Same problem, twitter become only accessable from incognito mode, I found out that one of the extensions was the cause so i removed it.

May I ask, which extension was the cause of the incompatibility for you?

For me, it was Bitwarden causing this issue.
