This seems ok for now but inconvenient in the future? Shouldn't you pass the same OS flags at build time that you're passing at test time? Then the folder will be consistent. (But that will cause issues with JS as it doesn't know about all the folders) |
@petemill as part of adding Chromium tests to our pipelines in https://github.com/brave/devops/pull/6405 they would get called explicitly by passing the OS, we can add that to the build steps as well. I wanted to make the change to not prefix the out dir with the OS if target OS is same as host OS but found no var for that. |

Ok makes sense @mihaiplesa. I think if we wanted to make it generic we could do what you suggest here: compare current OS with target OS. Can be done as follow-up or todo. |
