Now I see the account balance. Didn't need to restart Brave. |
The message "error, can't retrieve data" is not user-friendly btw. It would be worth showing the kind of error (database corruption, network, etc). /cc: @mrose17 |
I have the same error and do not know what to do next. Is there a way to reset it? Brave 0.12.5 Win 7 64bit |

Humanizes errors when loading ledger balance by mapping error codes to localized messages. Fix #4920 Auditors: @luixxiul Test Plan: 1. Disable internet for Brave (can disable system wide, or app specific eg w/ Little Snitch). 2. Open Brave and view Preferences > Payments. 3. Account balance should show error and details.
