Describe the issue you encountered:
Files opened from system shows Secure connection info

Expected behavior:
Should not show any connection info for files opened from system

  • Platform (Win7, 8, 10? macOS? Linux distro?):
    All

  • Brave Version (revision SHA):
    Brave 0.13.0
    rev 0c7a64d

  • Steps to reproduce:

    1. Open any HTML file from local machine
    2. Shows fa-search icon, clicking on it shows insecure connection message
    3. Use fa-list similar to about pages so that it is not clickable and doesn't display any connection message
  • Screenshot if needed:

  • Any related issues: lock icon is sticky in URL bar when it should display search icon #6273
