These are enforced automatically by CodeNarc and violation will fail a build

Lines must be less than or equal to 80 characters in length.

80 characters may be considered overly restrictive by modern standard, but time is spent developing this on a small-screened laptop and that limit allows two side-by-side buffers to be readable with a reasonable font size (and that is the limit that Hollerith brought down from the mountain).
