It's an introduction to BuddyPress theme development, linked pages are going straight to the point. I believe we don't need this introduction. Instead, we should explain, there are now 3 ways to manage Theme templates:
Standalone BP themes (BP Default) which is slowly deprecating.
BP Templates Packs (BP Legacy) using the BP Theme Compat API.
Standalone BP Block themes (BuddyVibes): the next way to go.
Tasks to accomplish
This task has been added to the "Todo" panel of the Documentation project.
The corresponding line of the data/README.md Pages list has been marked as "Ignore issue/task created".
One of the BuddyPress Core committer reviewed it and agreed to ignore this Codex page.
The task was moved to the "Done" panel of the Documentation project.
