doesn't work in 10.10.7, doesn't appear in My Plugins

I have the same issue.

I followed the instructions step-by-step:

Add Plugin Repository:
Go to Plugins > Repositories.
Click on + to add a new repository.
Enter the following details:
Name: CustomLogoPlugin
URL:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bvolvy/CustomLogoPlugin/main/manifest.json
Click Save.
Install the Plugin:
Navigate to Plugins > Catalog.
Find Custom Logo in the list.
Click Install.
Restart Jellyfin:
After installation, restart your Jellyfin server to apply changes.

I then restarted my Jellyfin server both through the Jellyfin Dashboard and through TrueNAS SCALE interfaces.

It does show up in Jellyfin > Administration > Plugins > Catalog after adding the repository.

It, however, does not show up in the Jellyfin > Administration > Dashboard > My Plugins list of installed plugins.

If I go to Jellyfin > Administration > Devices > Activity > System, I can see "Information" level alerts for each time that I've clicked on the 'Install' button through the CustomLogoPlugin Catalog entry. I've attached the copy/paste of the alert information below.

For me, it appears to be because:
[12:24:02] [ERR] [32] Emby.Server.Implementations.Updates.InstallationManager: Only zip packages are supported. https://github.com/bvolvy/CustomLogoPlugin/releases/tag/v1.0.0 is not a zip archive.
Not sure when we'll get a fix. I'll see if I can build it myself. If I can, I'll come back here and post it!

Same issue. What a bummer. I hope the plugin developer keeps this working. Nothing sadder than a developer creating something and forgetting it ever existed.

Workaround: just copy your custom logo files to /usr/share/jellyfin/web/assets/img. For my use I only had to replace the banner-light.png. Restart server and reload cache on devices.

I found the location and correct filename by checking the url of the logo file in the web version.
