Cachet needs a design which:

• Allows for overrides on elements, logo, colours etc.
• Supports multiple templates (maybe 2-3 of them).
• Support for custom CSS to completely override a template.
• Is easy to read and supports everything that is needed.

I'd be forever grateful if somebody wanted to give this a go? I'm not much of a designer myself.

For those who are interested in creating a design, I love how Astral looks and feels. That kind of layout and feel would suit Cachet IMHO.

Hey, I dont know if you would be interested, but if you want to be able to customise bootstrap, client side. You could use one of my projects called Cluckles.

Basically tracks what changes you want to apply to bootstrap, and generates the CSS.
You can completely customise bootstrap and add custom css/less, and import export etc.

You could use the existing templates which are in the build folder, or use the js files (cluckles.min.js) and build your own editor (I have used Cluckles in another project of mine Corvus) and used the default templates and it works perfectly fine.

If I ever have some spare time when im not updating Cluckles etc then I may also be able to help (if you would want to use Cluckles that is).

Could you create a "design" label for certain issues and further breakdown what you are looking for from a designer?

Are you looking for a style framework, or someone to provide collaborative feedback for user experience and flow, i.e. design thinking to the project as whole?

@HipsterBrown thanks for the interest, I could certainly break down the issues with a new label, no problem.

As a non-designer I'm looking for someone to actually design and collaborate on the project with me. I'd grant them full access to the repo and they can work with me and direct any design-related pull requests/feedback.

From the list in the first comment, I had assumed you were looking for more of a framework to work with, like something a front-end dev could drum up. I think the biggest barrier of entry for a project like this is installs and getting context for the focus of the project.

Do you have any ideas for how to collaborate on the design decisions?

I think it's only fair that the designer gets their fair say in this project. I have ideas and stuff but so long as it's nice and laid out then they're in control.

Usually I use GitHub issues for discussions but whoever wants to take the offer can get in touch with me via email.

I am interested in helping creating a workflow for making design contributions as low barrier as possible. I am hoping to abstract this learning experience into helping other projects with this same issue. I will do my best to help find a designer with a greater passion about building this product.
