If you prefer to build from source, you can find the codebase for High Fidelity in the hifi repository.
In this repository you'll find our content projects built for worlds that run on the High Fidelity platform. We welcome community contributions and you can find ongoing projects at Worklist.net. You can find specific information about where specific content is used in the subdirectory readme files.
If you find a small bug and have a fix, pull requests are welcome. If you'd like to get paid for your work, make sure you report the bug via a job on Worklist.
