None of the main Contributors to Cake.Recipe use Fixie, and there are now starting to be issues when trying to get Fixie to execute under certain environments. As a result, the decision has been taken to remove it from Cake.Recipe. There are techniques that can be used to bring back in execution of Fixie, but there will no longer be support out of the box.
