How fire "notificationActionPerformed" when overiding FirebaseMessagingService

I retrieve data only notifications to translate them and display to the user. Everything works well but i the listener

isnt fired. I send this notification with

did i make a mistake? is it even possible? or it is a bug?

Data-only notifications are not displayed to the user. The notificationActionPerformed listener can therefore not be used.

Thank for your fast reply! Now I'm just using only data notifications with the own implementation of the firebase messaging service. It works when the app is closed and is Everytime the same design
