Auto-generate changelog:

  • Go through git commits
  • Show author
  • link to commits on github by hash
  • generate stats
  • Find releases by looking for Cargo.toml version to change
  • Include yaml-formatted metadata (type, breaking, etc) in every commit
  • Synthesize changelog markdown
  • Check changelog metadata in CI
  • Include hash in changelog
