v3.8.c Arctium + Hermes + Batch start script (updated 18.11.24)

What is this?

This is a tool to run new 1.14.2 & 2.5.3 classic/tbc clients and connect to local or external server that supports 1.12/2.4.3

Release features

Published Launcher/Proxy (No .NET 5/6 required)
Bat file that checks:

• if game exe is present
• checks WoWClassic.exe version and doesn't start if version is wrong
• searches Config.wtf for "127.0.0.1" and notifies if it's not there
• starts Hermes Proxy and Arctium Launcher
• If bat with checks doesn't work, there is a bat file with no checks in Hermes Launcher folder
• Update Launcher.bat loads archive from here, can be used if new version is uploaded

Note: Added "clean" proxy builds without .bat launcher down below!

How to use

• Make sure you have WoW 1.14.2 (42597) or 2.5.3 (42328)
• Download classic/tbc archive below
• Extract it to WoW Classic/TBC folder
• Set Config.wtf to set portal "127.0.0.1"
• Game folder must look like this:
  
• Run Start WoW Classic/TBC.bat
• First start will check game version/config. If everything is OK, Hermes Proxy and WoW should start. Give Hermes proxy public/private Firewall permissions on first start
• If, for some reason, it doesnt start Proxy and/or WoW, use Skip Check.bat in Hermes Launcher folder
