🧐 About

Apple music is one of the most popular music streaming platform, however, a web player of Apple Music was never developed. That's why we want to create a music streaming web application that works similar to Apple Music.

Prerequisites

This is the complete list of dependencies to run this program, which are included in the requirement.txt.
You will need to run pip3 install -r requirements.txt to install them.

🎈 Usage

A .env folder will need to have the following keys:

• AWS client key and client secret from aws
• S3 bucket name
• Last.fm API key

🚀 Start The Program

To start the program you will need to go to the program directory and open up your terminal and

1. Type pip3 install and Enter to download all the dependencies
2. Type source venv/bin/activate to get into the virtual environemnt
3. Type python3 server.py to start the program

There are still some functionalities we are working on

• Music player is not fully function, ie. users are not able to skip songs
