Python was updated to version 3.13.2. Python 3.13 no longer bundles spwd and crypt.

The OpenSSL libraries embedded for the ssl module were updated to version 3.0.16 on all non-Windows platforms, fixing CVE-2024-9143.

The XZ libraries were updated to version 5.6.4.

pip 25.0 is now used.

The following Python modules were also updated:

  • setuptools to version 75.8.0
  • psutil to version 6.1.1
  • pywin32 to version 308.

The linux-arm64 package is now built automatically on Amazon Linux 2 through GitHub-hosted runners.
