Feature request: Disable huge thumbnails on home page

Youtube seems to be testing massive thumbnails on the "Home" page:

They're...ridiculous. For comparison, here's the (already way too big, imo) grid on "Subscriptions":

An option to bring back the old grid with four rows (or maybe even a custom number...) would be amazing. Thank you!

Yes, I agree - but not just on the Home page. They've also pulled this stunt on the Subscriptions page, which is the page that I used the most.

It looks really, really, horrible! I didn't pay a fortune for a full 4K screen, only to find it only fits THREE videos per row.

Ludicrous.

I too would love a feature for smaller thumbnail, but please not only on the Home page :)

Still only on 'Home' for me - although funnily enough, I just noticed that I still get the regular 6-row grid as placeholder while loading the page:
