Is there anyway to provide a consumer tag for the Rabbitmq UI

Hi Team,

Is there any way to set a consumer tag in order to get a meaningful name to appear in the RabbitMQ UI?

Currently, the consumer appears as stream.subid-0.

The client connectionName appears to just set the connection name and is not used for the consumer.

We do not currently support any identifiers for the consumers.

Is there any plans to support the feature as we are planning to have multiple consumers connected to the same stream. We will be utilising broker based filtering to allow different consumers to focus on different things.

Not being able to tag the consumers it is not clear what is connected to the stream.

We do not currently have any plan for that but we'll keep the issue open and we will work on this when possible.

The solution we propose is to add an identifier under "properties" in the dashboard so that you can define a name for each consumer. That's the same approach the dotnet client use.

Please be aware that we do not follow an accurate roadmap to implement features and we can't give you a release date.
