Cc: @cevich The PR as is looks fine, but see how Renovate is flapping between a downgrade and a digest update.

(The Git situation is a bit unusual, the current c/image commit reference is to a commit that merges the last tagged release into main. But that worked cleanly in the past.)

There’s quite possibly nothing to fix, or maybe it was fixed upstream already. Just FYI in case it happened elsewhere as well.

I saw a number of PRs "flapping" similar to this last week. Maybe it was a renovate (service) problem? I dunno, we'll have to keep an eye on it.
