I'm frequently seeing CLI commands that require a key's cosmosaccaddr and also a --from <key_name> flag. Can't we just assume the cosmosaccaddr from the --from flag and not make users type too many flags into commands.

Agreed! I think this issue has been addressed by #1748 so I'm going to close it... but let's open up more issues for specific other cases where we can remove flags
