Summary of Bug

If gaia has been installed as a snap package, the CLI will not be able to connect to ledger devices. Locally built/installed gaiacli works well.

Steps to Reproduce

Install from snap:
snap install gaia --edge or snap install gaia --beta

Try to add a key
gaia.gaiacli keys add temp --ledger

For Admin Use

  • Not duplicate issue
  • Appropriate labels applied
  • Appropriate contributors tagged
  • Contributor assigned/self-assigned
