Summary of Bug

Gentx command failing with Error: failed to sign std tx: Unexpected characters error when using ledger.

Version

v0.42.3

Steps to Reproduce

  • Init a new chain
  • Add genesis account
  • simd gentx <keyname> 10000000stake --ledger should fail with an error described above

I could reproduce this issue, encountering the same error on nano X with gaiad v4.1.1
