Architecture
The Data System is a layer between Cozy apps and services required by them. The main purpose of this is to allow the management of app permissions and pub/sub features. The DS will also provide services like mail sending, pictures resizing...
The Data System commands are available through a REST API.
- Written with Coffeescript upon NodeJS
- Cradle is the client used to connect to Database.
- request-json is the client used to connect to indexer.
- Database is CouchDB
- Indexer is a small Tornado server that takes advantage of Whoosh to index data.
- JugglingDB is used inside apps to connect to DS trough a specific adapter called jugglindb-cozy-adpater
