  1. Improved mail verification code service 

     - Added option to send 'keep alive' signal to external monitoring
   service.
 - Added option to log important events to an external monitoring service.

No sensitive data is ever sent in these logs. Only errors such as network
failures or aggregation information such as total emails sent.
