This is a draft how to fix this issue.
Unfortunately I don't understand well enough how require() works, so I need some help, thanks.

Honestly, it's quite simple. I use require.extensions to make it work.

I'm not sure, that it will help you to fix the issue, but I'll try to think about it.

This import is resolved at compile time — that is, before the script starts executing. All the imports and exports of the declarative module dependency graph are resolved before execution.
