Shapes on first line can be cut off

For me, since I have a git plugin installed, this only happens on files that have yet to be commited (as if it's commited it has a label at the top). Obviously this will be different for different people.

Let's try adding a code lens with empty string. Hopefully that will cause margin to appear if no code lens already there but then just concat empty string if one already there, resulting in noop

The solution was beyond simple. Just add this to your settings: "editor.padding.top": 5

Nice find. A few questions:

• Do we want to have cursorless set this by default?
• Does this setting add extra unnecessary padding when you do have a code lens?
• Should we document this solution somewhere or just expect users to find this issue?
