What does it do?

Monitor one or more bot(s) which are shared by others, and inform you of any changes made in the configuration saving you tired fingers for pressing F5 all the time.

How does it work?

The current data of the bot is requested using a simple http call. If there is no data in the database for this bot, only the data is saved and comparing will take place from next interval. When there is previous data saved, the old and new data is compared and any changes will be listed in the logfile and send to the configured notify-urls.

Note: at this moment the parsing of data is very simple.

Configuration

The configuration file for botwatcher contains the following settings:

• timezone - timezone. (default is 'Europe/Amsterdam')
• timeinterval - update timeinterval in Seconds. (default is 3600)
• debug - set to true to enable debug logging to file. (default is False)
• logrotate - number of days to keep logs. (default = 7
• 3c-apikey - your 3Commas API key value.
• 3c-apisecret - your 3Commas API key secret value.
• 3c-apikey-path - path to your own generated RSA private key, or empty.
• notifications - set to true to enable notifications. (default = False)
• notify-urls - one or a list of apprise notify urls, each in " " seperated with commas. See Apprise website for more information.
• botwatch_12345
• secret - the secret for this shared bot.
• notify-pairs - should a notification be send when the pair(s) has/have changed.
• comment - free field to place a description or something else
